3D recreation of an iconic Catalan 2d CD album cover art
My favourite band -called Manel, a catalan indie group- has an album with an iconic 2D illustration of 4 chairs. It is -maybe- the most recognized image in reference to them. I wanted to turn the 2d design to 3d as a way to practise model and rendering skills.
This is the original artwork, not my design. I wanted to recreate it but in a photorealistic 3d way
The Process
Basic 3D model created in Sketchup.
Rendered chairs but without textures, only illumination.
Final Renders
The models were made with Sketchup and rendered with Twinmotion.
